In 2021 Philadelphia's beer fans can look forward to checking out Victory Brewing Company's grand new taproom right on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Making its debut on the city's craft beer scene, Victory Brewing is opening a brand new 14,000-square foot taproom and brewery. The massive structure will feature a production brewing system, a full kitchen, two indoor bars, one outdoor bar, outdoor seating on street level, and a rooftop patio with views of the Parkway.

It's no secret that the pandemic had drastically affected the way we interact with public spaces, especially social establishments such as bars and restaurants. Victory Brewing wanted to ensure that guests don't feel "trapped" inside the new building, which informed design and architectural decisions aimed at opening up the space to the outside. To eliminate the visual presence of a physical barrier between the interior and exterior, the builders contacted Vetrina Windows to design and construct three sets of folding doors that will separate the inside of the restaurant from the street.

Vetrina Windows manufactured aluminum bi-fold doors for Victory Brewing in Philadelphia, PA

Three sets of aluminum folding doors, 18 feet long each, and almost 10 feet tall, will transform the brewery's static wall into a transparent movable on-demand barrier that can be easily closed or opened, depending on weather and other environmental factors to ensure optimal comfort for the guests. Each section will have six folding sashes featuring energy-saving insulated Low-E glass, and multi-point locking mechanisms for ultimate security.

Our Bi-Fold systems are easy to operate, and can accomodate areas longer than 50 feet, including corner sashes and ADA compliant hardware. Public places such as restaurants, breweries, office buildings, garages, stores, gyms, etc. can utilize Vetrina's folding doors to instantly open up a wall, or to create a barrier against noise, dust, and moisture.
