Located at 500-506 N. 13th St. in Philadelphia, Freedom Lofts is a multifamily project exceeding 6,300 sq. ft. and is currently being developed by USRE Freedom Lofts LLC. An old dilapidated structure is being transformed into a 5-story apartment building featuring 23 units and commercial spaces. While our partners at Mega Supply Pro are actively sourcing building materials and luxury finishes for the project, Vetrina Windows is responsible for equipping the building with some of the most durable and long-lasting aluminum windows available on the market.
A total of 134 units of custom window sizes and sash configurations for Freedom Lofts will be constructed based on our Delran Hidden Sash System. Vetrina Windows designed and manufactured unique dual configuration packages such as fixed top/tilt & turn bottom, fixed top/awning bottom, fixed right/casement left, and a wide range of other window variants.
With a visible exterior surface of only about 2.5", they will emphasize the modern profile of the building, underlining its clean architecture, and blending it exceptionally well with its surroundings. The windows come equipped with exposed and concealed hinges, and advanced locking hardware for extra security. With a U-value approaching 0.30 Btu/(h⋅ft2⋅°F) and an STC of 48 dB, Vetrina's windows will provide excellent thermal insulation, as well as offer a great deal of noise insulation for the Freedom Lofts residents.
One of the main benefits of using Vetrina's aluminum windows is their longevity: as opposed to traditional plastic or wooden windows, aluminum profiles can withstand all weather conditions and require minimum maintenance over their life cycle. In addition to their inherent structural resilience, for Freedom Lofts windows we're employing the AAMA 2604 powder coating process with RAL9004M Signal Black, which delivers a super durable high performance coating that may outlast the building structure itself, and will never need to be repainted.
