Sliding or Folding - which is better?
The type of moving glass wall you choose depends in part on the effect you want to achieve when open and closed — an especially important decision if you want to maximize great views and natural lighting.
In the closed position, folding doors have more vertical stiles due to the panel width limitation; therefore, they impose greater view obstruction when compared to sliding doors. Sliding doors allow for larger panels, which results in fewer vertical posts and more unobstructed views when closed.
However, in the open position, a sliding system still obstructs half or a portion of the opening, whereas a folding door system can be folded to the sides in its entirety freeing up the whole opening for easy access.

What about the warranty?
Hardware and moving components are warranted against manufacturing defects for five (5) years. Glass is warranted against seal failure caused by manufacturing defects for five (5) years. Aluminum profiles are warranted against manufacturing defects resulting in a loss of structural integrity for fifteen (15) years.
Does the Bi-Fold System provide an airtight weatherproof seal?
Yes, our Bi-Fold Folding Door Systems are designed to withstand hurricane-level winds, and have great moisture resistance.

Where are they manufactured?
All of our accordion glass doors and other products are manufactured locally in our state-of-the-art facility near Philadelphia, PA.
What about installation?
While our systems don’t require making structural changes to your building, this isn’t a DIY project. Professional installation is required. If you’re located in the Greater Philadelphia area – we can recommend an installer.
What’s the largest size of a single panel in the Bi-Fold System?
Maximum size of a single panel is 47 ¼” x 118”. The system may have anywhere from 2 to 14 panels.
How long would it take to receive my Bi-Fold System?
Our usual lead time from the drawings approval stage for standard configurations is 26-32 week; custom projects and special features may take longer.
